Job Summary:

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to patients in our outpatient setting. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will diagnose and treat emotional and mental disorders, assess and provide psychotherapeutic interventions, and collaborate with consulting psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and evaluations for patients referred for examination and mental health treatment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients requiring specialized therapy.
  • Coordinate with consulting psychiatrists to ensure timely evaluation and medication management.
  • Interpret patient self-reports and psychological test results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide supportive services, consultation, and educational programs for the department.
  • Communicate clinical findings in writing and through mental health consultation with organizational staff.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and utilize electronic medical records as applicable.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology required.
  • Clinical Psychologist licensure in the state of practice required.
  • Psychologist (PSYCH) certification required.
