HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Tech Mixed to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization, as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab.
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic images and review quality of radiographs to ensure quality standards have been met.
  • Obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam.
