Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Imaging Technical Assistant to join our team at Radiology Regional Center. As an Imaging Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our radiologic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients through procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Verify patient demographics and medical history, ensuring accurate information for exams.
  • Operate computer systems, including PACS, RIS, MDM, and SPARK, to support imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, maintaining patient modesty and confidentiality.
  • Assist technologists, radiologists, and physicians during imaging procedures.
  • Prepare IV solution sets and contrast agents for administration.
  • Assist with laundry of patient gowns, sheets, and other linens.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Medical training program with medical and anatomy terminology preferred.
  • Medical assistant certificate preferred.
  • Medical knowledge and experience preferred.
