Position Summary

We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to ongoing projects aimed at developing automation solutions for intricate Scientific & Technical Intelligence challenges. As a key member of our expert team, you will analyze intelligence data to identify opportunities for automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI/ML Algorithm Development: Create prototype AI/ML algorithms and software tools utilizing Python and the TensorFlow API.
  • Model Training: Train AI/ML models and optimize their hyperparameters to meet specific dataset objectives.
  • Data Visualization: Use TensorBoard to visualize hyperparameter optimization spaces for selecting optimal parameters.

Data Management:

  • Implement customized data quality control solutions to ensure accurate mappings for AI/ML algorithms on complex datasets.
  • Develop and manage databases, data lakes, and data warehouses for both structured and unstructured data.

Research and Development:

  • Apply best practices in machine learning and computer vision to analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Stay updated with state-of-the-art practices in AI/ML and contribute innovative ideas to tackle longstanding challenges in remote sensing.

Software Development Standards:

  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for documentation and unit testing.
  • Follow Python PEP8 standards in coding.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a minimum of Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python-based AI/ML model development lifecycle using a recent deep learning platform, preferably TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative tools such as MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical results clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field with significant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Experience with DoD intelligence production processes.
  • Operational experience in radar signal processing, imagery analysis, or electronic warfare data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools in Python.
  • Familiarity with large image data formats and web-based systems development.

Compensation:

The typical compensation range for this position is between $80,000 and $130,000, depending on experience and other factors.
