Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and company specifications.
- Revision and Update: Revise and update existing drawings as required, maintaining organized records of design files and documentation.
- Standards and Compliance: Read, interpret, and implement ISO, ANSI, and ASME standards, as well as customer-specific requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions, ensuring documentation accuracy and participating in design reviews.
- Additional Tasks: Assist other departments and perform additional tasks as instructed, maintaining a strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, drafting, or a related field.
- Skills: Proven proficiency in SolidWorks, knowledge of configuration management principles, and working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analysis skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
