Special Education Instructor for Substantially Separate Program

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in a substantially separate program for students in grades K-5.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per yearKey Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning requirements.
- Create a positive, engaging, and adaptive classroom environment that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction as necessary to meet the needs of each student.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and caregivers to build strong partnerships and ensure transparency regarding student progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting (K-5 preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to create and maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
