Job Summary

The Hygiene Assistant will work closely with our experienced hygienists to provide top-notch patient care and support the smooth operation of our dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the dental field and gain valuable experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care
  • Provide superior assistance to hygienists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts
  • Assist with setting up rooms, stocking and restocking instruments and supplies
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations
  • Partner with providers and team members to follow office systems and maximize office workflow
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
