POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate residents' needs, create personalized care plans, provide nursing care, assess the effectiveness of care, and oversee nursing assistants and other staff in delivering quality nursing services.

This oversight must comply with current federal, state, and local regulations and standards governing our community, as well as directives from the Director of Nursing Services or their designee, ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained.

Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while upholding the established standards of practice set by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.


Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in fulfilling job responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Availability to work scheduled hours based on job requirements.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.


Shift & Compensation:

Opportunities available for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.
