The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a pivotal role in the healthcare team at Novant Health by fostering a genuine and personalized relationship with patients and their chosen support systems. This position involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate tailored care plans that promote optimal health outcomes or support a dignified end-of-life experience.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist employs the best scientific evidence and compassionate care to guide patients through their health journeys.

Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is accountable for the management and delivery of care in accordance with current policies and procedures. Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; 4-Year/Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, and you have not been licensed in another state during that time, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

Experience:
One year of relevant experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.
