Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled medical assistant and scribe to join our team at Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons of Texas. As a member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in their daily activities.

Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $65,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  1. Typing progress notes using EMR software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and verifying medical histories.
  3. Setting up for and assisting with procedures, adhering to strict sterile techniques.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A strong typing skillset, with a minimum speed of 50 wpm.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset.
  • Certification as a medical assistant or completion of a related program.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical setting.
