Psychiatric Nursing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Nurse Leader to join our dynamic team at the University of Kentucky's Wendell 3 co-ed in-patient psychiatric unit. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families, and communities while advancing the field of mental health nursing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, demonstrating excellence in clinical practice, leadership, and education
- Develop and implement innovative programs, policies, and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance mental health services and reduce health disparities
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a psychiatric setting
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for teaching and coaching others
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000, depending on qualifications and experience
