Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Instrumentation and Controls

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Instrumentation and Controls projects. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing specific construction site activities, managing various trades, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site activities related to specific trades on designated construction sites.
  • Direct and coordinate assigned vendors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure safety objectives are met on all assigned projects.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients on-site.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.
  • Support the Construction Manager in creating and maintaining project schedules, including activity lists, durations, and sequencing.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the project budget for assigned trades and identify any deviations.
  • Assist in preparing change control documentation and related financial records.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to conduct pre-bid walk-throughs and descope meetings.
  • Evaluate and manage subcontractor and vendor change requests, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and cost estimates.
  • Complete job safety analysis and other required safety documentation.
  • Work with the Construction Manager and Document Control to ensure all submittals are properly distributed, reviewed, and stored.
  • Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in ensuring all project activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee startup and commissioning activities for assigned trades, if included in the project scope.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in construction site management.
  • Relevant site safety qualifications (e.g., NEEBOSH, SMSTS).
  • OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
