The State of Idaho is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise.

This is a full-time position that will remain open until filled.

The ideal candidate will have current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code.

Responsibilities include performing practical nursing care or assisting a registered nurse or physician in routine to complex situations.

Other duties may include observing, recording, and reporting residents' treatment, care, symptoms, physical and mental condition, behavior, and progress.

Administering prescribed medications, including intramuscular injections, and observing for adverse reactions is also a key responsibility.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
