Position Overview:As the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Excellence, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational capabilities and achieving financial objectives. You will lead a talented team responsible for the production of cutting-edge manufacturing systems.
This hands-on position demands effective communication of our vision and strategies, focusing on cost-effective solutions and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee integrated manufacturing operations, including engineering, supply chain, and production across various facilities.
- Develop and implement strategies that enhance operational performance while ensuring high-quality output.
- Drive initiatives to improve production efficiency, including optimizing factory flow and increasing throughput.
- Share best practices and operational insights to foster continuous improvement across the organization.
- Lead production efforts for both existing and new programs while nurturing talent at all levels.
- Analyze processes to identify opportunities for safety enhancements and cost reductions.
- Establish a data-driven approach to scheduling and reporting, focusing on measurable outcomes.
- Utilize leadership principles to cultivate a culture of trust and development within the team.
Applicants should possess a BA or BS degree in Operations Management or Manufacturing Engineering, along with a minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
Experience in a factory leadership role is essential, as is a proven track record of managing large teams within a multi-business unit environment.
Candidates should demonstrate expertise in transforming operations and leading change initiatives that enhance organizational culture and processes.
Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, particularly in complex environments, is required.
Strong business acumen and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is a requirement for this position.
