Security Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Project Manager to lead our client's PCI-DSS certification process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the internal project management role for the client organization and handling the PCI-DSS certification project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the PCI-DSS certification project, including working with internal audit stakeholders for evidence preparation and submission to QSA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to manage milestones and SLAs.
  • Track certification projects, Cyber Security services, and milestones progress per defined project plan.
  • Provide daily/weekly project status to the client management team.
  • Schedule and facilitate recurring calls with customers during the project IT security compliance cycle.
  • Track and communicate project risks and customer impact issues, including coordinating with management to resolve identified issues.
  • Use the internal project management system to complete tasks and update project information in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in project management (security) for customer services organizations.
  • Experience in delivering security compliance projects, particularly PCI-DSS.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other Project Management certification.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executive-level leaders.
