Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at Leidos. This role will involve working on substation drafting assignments, utilizing software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design principles and techniques, with proficiency in vector and raster drawing files.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying drawings from engineer-provided markups, with a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, they will need to be proficient in Windows operating system environments and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This is a hybrid schedule opportunity, offering flexibility and work-life balance. Our team collaborates closely, requiring strong professional verbal and written communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in drafting and detailing, preferably with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in vector and raster drawing files
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: $33,150 - $59,925
