Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Systems Designer to join our dynamic team in Portland, OR. This role involves designing electric transmission line projects for high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead and underground systems for top utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, and other relevant standards in electrical engineering and design.
  • Perform engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, draft plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with a multi-person Leidos team and interface with clients, project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least four years of experience in electric utility transmission system design.
  • Familiarity with PLS-CADD models, foundations, material, plan and profiles, and construction packages.
  • Knowledge of code requirements, construction specifications, material procurement process, project schedules, and construction work packages.
Salary and Benefits:
