Key Responsibilities of the Accountant:
- Manage vendor invoices and ensure accurate account coding.
- Conduct research to reconcile Accounts Payable with the Purchasing system.
- Prepare and review journal entries on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyses, including prepaids and accrued liabilities.
- Assist in the monthly general ledger closing and reporting processes.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including subledger reconciliations and report preparation.
- Generate intercompany invoices and support monthly intercompany procedures.
Qualifications for the Accountant:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting is required; CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- This role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
- Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards and foreign currency transactions is essential.
Salary: $55,000 to $80,000, depending on experience.
