Job Summary

The Chiropractor provides quality patient care within the Whole Health Service and in collaboration with other health care professionals. This role requires a high level of professionalism, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, treatment of disease, and care at the end of life.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of established and evolving evidence-based practices and the application of this knowledge to patient care and the education of others.
  • Use scientific evidence-based practice and methods to investigate, evaluate, and improve patient care.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide telehealth services to appropriate patients through means of Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT), VA Video Connect (VVC), and other telehealth means approved by VA.
  • Complete clinical notes in the electronic health record system and document and code information for billing related to patient care.
Requirements
  • United States Citizenship
  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited school
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice chiropractic in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience related to the position
  • 2-5+ years of experience in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Working Conditions

The Chiropractor will work in a healthcare setting and will be required to lift moderate weights, use fingers, and walk for extended periods. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care is essential.
