As a Patient Care Assistant at CHI St Vincent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with their daily life activities, providing them with the necessary care and support to feel safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hourly rounds on patients, checking vitals and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist patients with ambulation, hygiene needs, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One of the following criteria must be met: Certified Nursing Assistant/EMT, completion of "Fundamentals of Nursing" in an accredited RN or LPN Nursing Program, or minimum of 6 months of direct patient care in an acute care environment within the last 24 months.
  • Verifiable Certified Patient Care Tech, CPCT, issued by American Allied Health.
  • CPR Certification from the American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire.
