About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing functional rehabilitation to individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in their natural home and community environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources.
  • Communicate patients' needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
  • Effective communication and professional interaction skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
