Job Summary:

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in an outpatient clinic setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients, assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, and developing treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and assesses and interprets evaluations and test results of patients.
  • Adheres to state requirements for supervision of SLPAs and Clinical Fellows to provide services with the highest care standards.
  • Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/follow-up programs.
  • Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses, and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
  • Maintains patient records confidentially.
  • Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ASHA-accredited Speech Therapy program.
  • Current State Speech Therapist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or qualify to complete Clinical Fellowship.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and time management skills.
  • Must keep the best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities.
  • Collaborative nature.
