Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rapidly growing team in Albuquerque, NM. As an SLP with Ambercare, you will play a critical role in providing speech therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them to achieve optimal communication skills and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech and language function, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized plans of care.
  • Administer diagnostic assessments and recommend communication devices or aids as necessary.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to patients in their homes, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective communication.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current certification of clinical competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure as a speech therapist in the state of New Mexico.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in acute care settings or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
