The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified LPN to join our team at Woodfield Detention Center. As a Medical Care Professional, you will work closely with our Registered Nurse and physicians to provide medical services to youths in a manner consistent with our policies and procedures, as well as OCFS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Center's RN and physicians on all medical matters and to the Director on programmatic issues and administrative matters.
  • Assist in providing medical services to youths detained at Woodfield Detention Center.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Licensed Practical Nursing and licensed in New York.
  • Valid NYS Drivers License in good standing.
  • Ability to work with children.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Mature, calm, and flexible.
  • CPR Certified preferred.
  • First Aid Certified preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as LPN.
  • Pediatric, psychiatric emergency, or residential treatment experience preferred.
