Job Summary:
This position plays a critical role in coordinating total nursing care for patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for patient needs. As a Nursing Care Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Advocate for patient needs and preferences
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Current/active North Carolina or compact RN license
- BLS required, or obtained during the first week of hire
- ACLS required or must be obtained within 12 months from the date of hire
