Role Overview: The Safety and Security Specialist is a vital member of our security team, responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all members and guests. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage static security posts effectively.
  • Assist in implementing security plans that align with organizational operations.
  • Facilitate and participate in security training sessions for various skill levels.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support security initiatives.
  • Provide mobile security assistance as directed by leadership.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical, fire, and suspicious activities.
  • Conduct regular patrols of designated areas.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Develop advanced skills in areas such as medical response and security technology.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in military, law enforcement, security contracting, or corporate security.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in military deployment or intelligence roles.
  • Strong aptitude for handling critical incidents.
  • Certification in CPR/first aid or BLS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in safeguarding individuals and property.
  • Proficiency in foreign languages.
  • High level of integrity and character.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to de-escalate conflicts effectively.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work afternoon or night shifts on weekends.
  • Willingness to adapt to varying schedules as needed.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances.
  • Able to carry 10-30 lbs of equipment throughout an 8-hour shift if necessary.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Compensation: Starting hourly rate is competitive and will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
