Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Master's Level Clinician to join our Adult Outpatient team on a part-time basis. As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering direct services and providing clinical consultation to our multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide group, individual, and family therapy to clients as required
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, including initial intakes and ongoing assessments
  • Work with service recipients to create person-centered recovery plans
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to case management staff
  • Complete all agency records using a collaborative documentation approach
  • Participate in crisis response services, providing risk assessment, crisis intervention, stabilization, and counseling, and assessment for hospitalization
  • Serve as a client advocate, making timely referrals to other agencies and providing consultation and follow-up communication with law enforcement agencies, community agencies, schools, medical facilities, and inpatient units
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or other related social services field
  • Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW) preferred
  • LCSW and LMHC will also be considered
  • Minimum of two years of clinical work experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and genuine outlook about change and a belief that people can achieve positive outcomes
