Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Alabama 4-H Center. As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for planning and supervising activities for campers, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing a positive and supportive environment for them to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise activities for campers, including games, sports, nature classes, and water activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
  • Provide a positive and supportive environment for campers to learn and grow
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve program goals
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to swim and participate in water activities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
