Are you a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to expand your role in healthcare? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Float LPN to join our team at MultiCare Health System.

As a Clinic Float LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our nursing team with your strong interpersonal skills, independent decision-making expertise, and commitment to serving patients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis
  • Engage critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data
  • Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
  • BLS certification
  • Two (2) years experience as a LPN in a clinic setting preferred
  • Current Washington state driver's license and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
