Inhouse Xactimate Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Inhouse Xactimate Estimator to join our team at Rainbow Restoration. As an Inhouse Xactimate Estimator, you will play a critical role in helping people recover from property damage caused by fire, water, smoke, or mold.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing timely, accurate, and profitable estimations of property losses. You will help close and retain customers by promptly responding to requests for estimates, effectively communicating our capabilities while maintaining the highest levels of customer care.

• Inspect and scope projects in a timely fashion.
• Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, and mold restoration projects.
• Coordinate estimates and communicate with subcontractors.
• Create accurate and profitable job estimates.
• Prepare written proposals.
• Develop lists of materials and equipment needed for projects.
• Obtain pricing for materials.
• Obtain bids from subcontractors.
• Communicate with customers, set realistic expectations, and maintain project files.
• Attend customer-related functions, network with customers to generate new business, and build relationships with claims adjusters and contractors.

• At least 5 years of experience in Xactimate estimate writing.
• Two years' experience with Xactimate software is a must.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
