At 24 Carrot Corral, Inc. dba Golden Corral, we are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to fill the role of Culinary Specialist. This position is crucial for ensuring the quality, taste, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet offerings.

Food Preparation Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Hot Choice Buffet items, including Carving and Display Cooking products, following established recipes and procedures.
  • Grill all menu items according to company standards to guarantee exceptional quality.
  • Ensure that all fried products are served fresh and hot.
  • Assist in restocking items at the Display Cooking Station when necessary.
  • Support guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable.
  • Adhere to the buffet production system to maintain quality and compliance with shelf life standards.

Operational Standards:

  • Maintain proper cooking, holding, and serving temperatures for all products.
  • Utilize the Hot Choice Buffet Production Guide to manage inventory of hot cook products.
  • Execute opening and closing administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained in accordance with the Equipment Maintenance manual.
  • Restock and rotate food items using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
  • Conduct inventory checks and collaborate with management at the start and end of each shift.

Sanitation and Cleanliness:

  • Ensure the Hot Cook area and all utensils are clean, checking for cleanliness before use.
  • Follow the duty roster to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Comply with local health department regulations.
  • Keep the Char Grill clean and maintained to ensure product quality and sanitation.

Customer Engagement:

  • Guarantee that Hot Choice Buffet products, including Display Cooking items, are consistently hot and fresh for guests.
  • Understand and follow responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, assisting them with their selections.
  • Maintain professional communication at all times.
