Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Inspire and guide team members, promoting their professional growth and development within the organization.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with boards and internal finance teams to create and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, authorize expenditures, and make informed financial decisions that benefit the community.
  • Financial Objectives: Supervise and direct regional financial operations, ensuring effective financial planning, budgeting, and execution to meet established targets.
  • Board Assistance: Support the HOA board in establishing objectives, formulating strategies, and making well-informed decisions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks to the organization and the community.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist with long-term planning, including reserve fund allocation, capital improvement initiatives, and community development strategies.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on changes in local, state, or federal regulations that may impact HOA operations and advise the board accordingly.
  • Recruitment and Training: Attract, hire, and develop team members, ensuring the acquisition of relevant skills and attributes to support business operations.
  • Succession Planning: Create and implement a comprehensive succession plan to ensure continuity and stability in leadership and key operational roles.
  • Collaboration: Foster a cooperative relationship with the Market President and other industry colleagues to share insights and best practices that enhance operations.
  • Meetings: Attend board meetings, committee sessions, and other relevant gatherings to actively engage in decision-making processes and provide valuable contributions.
  • Business Development: Engage in business development initiatives, including participation in local trade shows and industry events to network and explore new business opportunities.
  • Sales Support: Assist in sales efforts to acquire new business, including supporting and/or delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide the team.
  • Relationship Management: Building strong connections with clients and associates.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Judgment: Demonstrates sound decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of devising creative solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of successful management and supervisory experience.
  • A college degree preferred or equivalent experience in Management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) or PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) are preferred.
