The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Lead to maintain the cleanliness of our camp facilities and supervise seasonal housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all surfaces, including windows, doors, appliances, and fixtures, are clean and dust-free.
  • Floor Care: Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycle receptacles, and replace liners as needed.
  • Restroom Cleaning: Clean floors, bathtubs, showers, sinks, urinals, toilets, and mirrors to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Laundry and Bed Making: Launder linens and make beds to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Supply Management: Restock and inventory all cleaning supplies, including restroom paper products, and reorder as needed.
  • Decorating and Seasonal Tasks: Assist with seasonal decorating, including setup and teardown.
  • Staff Supervision: Direct, assign, and spot-check seasonal staff cleaning duties.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Previous cleaning experience preferred.
  • Leadership: Leadership experience desired.
Computer Skills:
  • Microsoft Office 365: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • TEAMS and SharePoint: Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint.
  • Software Proficiency: Willingness to learn new software as needed.
Certifications and Licenses:
  • Safe From Harm Training: Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed.
