Position Summary: The AV Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in the deployment of commercial audio-visual equipment. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a high level of technical expertise, consistently troubleshooting and resolving issues as they occur while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Work alongside the project manager to maintain productivity, ensure project completion, and adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns that may arise.
Required Qualifications:
  • Self-driven with the ability to operate with minimal oversight.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in audio-visual installation.
  • Proficient in interpreting and executing construction and signal flow diagrams.
  • Demonstrated excellence in workmanship, particularly in cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimping.
  • Capability to thoroughly test completed systems to meet engineering specifications and operational requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address issues as they emerge.
  • Experience with network cabling is advantageous.
  • CTS certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP Systems, with manufacturer certifications being a plus.
