Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Observation unit at LifeBridge Health, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, working under the direct supervision and direction of the Nurse Manager. This role requires a strong foundation in telemetry, stroke, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions, identifying and responding to changes in their status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge, equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college), with a focus on a specialized field.
- Bachelor's of Nursing preferred from CCNE accredited schools.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification, BLS Certification.
