We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our orthopedic trauma team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN.
About the JobThis full-time position requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive seamless, comprehensive care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Implement and monitor individualized patient plans, communicating effectively with caregivers and family members.
- Serve as a key coordinator of patient discharge planning, collaborating with hospital staff to ensure timely transitions.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent required; BSN preferred.
- Current Indiana RN licensure and BLS certification mandatory.
- Previous experience in orthopedic or trauma nursing highly valued.
A competitive salary range is between $65,000 to $95,000 annually based on experience.
