We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team at Covenant Living Communities. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and campus.
- Respond to emergency calls and evaluate situations to determine the best course of action.
- Conduct regular patrols of the campus, including buildings and grounds, to prevent and detect potential security threats.
- Monitor and control vehicle traffic, enforcing parking policies and regulations.
- Challenge and report any unauthorized individuals on campus.
- Collaborate with on-call personnel to respond to emergencies and provide support as needed.
- Perform routine checks of security equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Write and distribute incident reports, documenting all security-related events.
- Identify and report safety hazards, submitting maintenance requests through our WorxHub software program.
- Provide non-emergency residential services, such as maintenance and housekeeping, as directed by leadership staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in security or a related field.
- Valid state driver's license (CDL preferred) and a good driving record.
- First aid certification and experience in emergency medical situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions, with good observational skills and adaptability.
- For California candidates, must maintain a valid and current California Security License.
