We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team at Covenant Living Communities. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and campus.

  • Respond to emergency calls and evaluate situations to determine the best course of action.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus, including buildings and grounds, to prevent and detect potential security threats.
  • Monitor and control vehicle traffic, enforcing parking policies and regulations.
  • Challenge and report any unauthorized individuals on campus.
  • Collaborate with on-call personnel to respond to emergencies and provide support as needed.
  • Perform routine checks of security equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
  • Write and distribute incident reports, documenting all security-related events.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, submitting maintenance requests through our WorxHub software program.
  • Provide non-emergency residential services, such as maintenance and housekeeping, as directed by leadership staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in security or a related field.
  • Valid state driver's license (CDL preferred) and a good driving record.
  • First aid certification and experience in emergency medical situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions, with good observational skills and adaptability.
  • For California candidates, must maintain a valid and current California Security License.
