Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine speech and language needs.
  • Deliver care in alignment with physician directives and established treatment plans.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust strategies to meet rehabilitation goals.
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning, engaging with patients, families, and healthcare team members to optimize recovery outcomes.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and program development efforts.
  • Assist in budget planning to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Possession or eligibility for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state.
  • Valid Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
