Laborist Physician

Axia Women's Health is a leading provider of women's health services, with a network of over 200 centers across the country. We are seeking a skilled Laborist Physician to join our team in Northern New Jersey, Southern New Jersey & Pennsylvania (Greater Philadelphia area), and the Indianapolis area.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess pregnant women in labor, making decisions regarding the timing and method of delivery, including cesarean sections if necessary.
- Administer pain relief medications as needed and provide emotional support to the mother and her family.
- Address any complications or emergencies that arise during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, interventions, and progress during labor.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Current state medical license and ability to obtain necessary hospital privileges.
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.

- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
