Clinical Nurse Manager-East Wing 3 Fulltime

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our East Wing 3 team at Erlanger Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating clinical practice, patient care, and operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction for staff to support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the hospital.
- Accountable for all aspects of management, including 24-hour leadership of multiple nursing care areas.
- Responsible for patient safety, quality of care, performance of the nursing staff, and preparation and management of operational and capital budgets.
- Collaborate with nursing colleagues, physician leaders, and ancillary departments to achieve department goals and decision-making activities.
- Provide mentorship for Clinical Staff Leaders and act as a role model of professionalism for staff.
- Participate in and support the integration of healthcare technology for continuity of patient care.
- Accountable for oversight and implementation of quality metrics, including CAUTI, CLABSI, and HCAHPS.
- Collaborate with Colleges of Nursing faculty to foster a positive learning environment for student clinical experiences.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree (exception must be approved by Chief Nursing Executive).
- Five or more years of clinical experience and evidence of leadership abilities.
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of Tennessee.
- BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and maintained going forward.
- Master's Degree in nursing.
- Certification in area of specialty.
