Guest Services Operations Supervisor

Description
As a key member of our management team at StepStone Hospitality, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence. Your role will include:
- Quality Assurance: Uphold exceptional guest service standards.
- Financial Management: Drive budgeted revenues and control expenses to enhance profitability within the guest services division.
- Strategic Planning: Formulate both short-term and long-term financial and operational strategies aligned with the hotel’s overarching goals.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise all operational facets, including Engineering, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve guest issues in the absence of the General Manager.
- Guest Satisfaction: Elevate guest satisfaction levels through exceptional service delivery and staff development.
- Reservation Management: Oversee the reservation process to optimize room occupancy and average daily rates through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Financial Security: Ensure adherence to credit control procedures, manage financial transactions, and safeguard both financial assets and guest security.
- Guest Relations: Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, complaints, or requests.
- Prior supervisory experience is essential.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
- Physical capabilities including pushing, bending, stooping, and manual dexterity.
- Proficient in hearing, writing, and typing tasks.
- Ability to pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and departmental functions.
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Exceptional mathematical and computer skills are necessary.
- A high school diploma along with relevant training and experience is required; additional education is preferred.
- Ability to obtain any necessary licenses or certifications in a timely manner.
- CPR training is required; first aid training is preferred.
- Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
