Job Overview

The Warehouse and Inventory Manager is a critical role that oversees the daily operation of the Warehouse, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and receiving processes. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills to manage a team of warehouse employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient work schedules for warehouse workers
  • Coordinate shipments and loading of outgoing items onto trucks
  • Collaborate with Planning and Ops to align work schedules with operations plans
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies and products
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols for workers and equipment
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain the Cycle Count program
  • Manage the receipt and storage of goods in the warehouse
  • Optimize trailer and onsite storage to prevent product loss
  • Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff
  • Manage projects and provide progress updates and status reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field
  • 6+ years of warehouse leadership experience
  • CDL driver's license
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software, with NetSuite experience a plus
  • Strong math, reading, and communication skills

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment within a food processing plant
  • Sit or stand at a desk for short periods
  • Visual acuity to read computer screens and printed documents
  • Monday to Friday, days, with a salary up to $120K plus bonus potential
