Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Santa Fe Public Schools. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with communication disorders and helping them achieve their full potential.

Job Summary:

The Speech and Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide support and accommodations for students with communication disorders
  • Provide in-service education and training to teachers and staff on communication disorders and strategies for supporting students
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and provide recommendations for supporting their child at home
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid New Mexico Speech Pathology license
  • Experience working with diverse populations and communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Experience working in a public school setting
Salary Range:

Based on education, experience, and level of NM License

Tier 2 License: $60,000+

Tier 3 License: $70,000+
