About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Rogers, MN. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing needs, evaluating and improving processes, and developing and modifying manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing needs, including production-related matters involving day-to-day troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.
  • Develop and modify manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing processing methods and equipment.
  • Work with other team members and vendors to ensure equipment is operational and follows manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Polymer, Material Science, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Possess excellent technical knowledge of the extrusion process and materials combined with good problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks, Indusoft Web Studio / Aveva Edge, and Productivity Suite plc programming software.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting 40lbs.
  • Standing for long durations of time.
  • Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
