Job Title: Registered Nurse - Women and Children's Resource/Float Pool

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our Women and Children's Float Pool at Novant Health. In this role, you will provide nursing care to women in various settings within our facility, including labor and delivery, mother/baby, NICU, PICU, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and communicates patient care needs for discharge planning in interdisciplinary care conferences and with members of the health care team.
  • Develops and implements an individualized plan of nursing care with the patient and family that will address the patient's and family's identified needs and concerns.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in coordinating the plan of care and facilitating patient outcomes.
  • Implements and evaluates the patient's response to care through assessment and reassessment and updates the plan of care.
  • Ensures the patients are admitted, transferred, and discharged in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Documents assessments, delivery of care, and patient's response to care in the medical record.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in accredited nursing school required.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
  • 1 Year experience in acute care required.
