Room Care Specialist Job Description

The Room Care Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of designated areas in accordance with company standards, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in various sections of the establishment, including guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, and laundry areas within designated timeframes.
  • Replenish supplies in guest accommodations and restrooms as needed.
  • Properly dispose of waste and refuse.
  • Organize and manage housekeeping carts and tools efficiently.
  • Provide a warm and inviting greeting to all guests.
  • Follow safety and security protocols diligently.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform laundry tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness in both residential and commercial laundry spaces.
  • Complete any additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping is required.
