Director Respiratory Therapy Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Respiratory Therapy to lead our Respiratory Therapy department at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Respiratory Therapy team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Respiratory Therapists.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of healthcare management experience with 5 years of experience in a clinical position in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Preferred: 5 years of healthcare management experience with experience in Respiratory Therapy.
