About the Role: Becker Health/MedHQ is seeking a travel CT Technologist to join their team in New York.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Summary: As a travel CT Technologist with Becker Health/MedHQ, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement plans for imaging procedures, taking into account patient medical history, anatomical characteristics, and technical requirements
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and optimal performance
  • Document patient information, test results, and treatment plans accurately and efficiently
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high productivity

Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • BCLS certification and NY state licensure are also required
