Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Structural Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting chance to work on a range of complex projects, from initial feasibility assessments to detailed design and execution phases. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in structural engineering and will be tasked with ensuring the structural soundness of our projects. This position demands a high degree of technical expertise alongside exceptional project management capabilities. The Structural Engineer will be pivotal in delivering projects that meet stringent timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create detailed designs for structural elements and systems utilizing Revit and other relevant software.
2. Offer technical guidance on structural design challenges to project teams.
3. Oversee project delivery from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
4. Lead and coordinate the efforts of junior engineers and team members.
5. Conduct site evaluations and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications.
6. Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project coordination.
7. Prepare and present reports, proposals, technical drawings, and necessary documentation.
8. Stay informed about the latest advancements in structural engineering and integrate this knowledge into project designs.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
2. At least 4 years of experience in structural design engineering, ideally within a consulting framework.
3. Proficiency in Revit and other structural design applications.
4. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and methodologies.
5. Proven project management skills with a history of timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
8. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound technical judgment.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
