About the Position:

Power Design is a leading electrical contractor with a strong presence nationwide. As a Field Engineer, you will be working on local job sites, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in electrical installation and project management.

Under the guidance of a Superintendent and project team, you will learn the intricacies of running large-scale construction projects, including electrical installation scopes of work, project deliverables, and safety protocols.

This is an ideal opportunity for motivated and driven individuals to grow within the organization and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gaining firsthand experience in electrical installation scopes of work, including decks, rough, trim, and distribution.
  • Providing support to the project team in ensuring accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
  • Collaborating with senior team members, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate schedules, manage labor forecasts, inventory, and project correspondence.
  • Representing the organization in the field and interacting with customers and other trades.
  • Utilizing cutting-edge technology to assist on assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • College graduate with a construction-related degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Detail-oriented professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
